As well as campaigning against the disproportionate masking of school children in 2020 and 2021 (#NoMasksInClass), in early 2022, UsForThem legally challenged the UK Government on its unevidenced and discriminatory guidance for masks in classrooms, gaining support from several Conservative MPs in a rare challenge against their own government colleagues.

This reflected the great concern of many parents, child health experts and educationalists about the mask policy, which was introduced without the support of robust scientific evidence, and with no impact assessment as to the potential physical, psychological and educational harms to children.
